Smokin Aces tops the charts

The numbers are out for last week. Happy Feet finally got ousted from the number one spot and fell quite a way actually. Several new releases were able to make it in the top five including Smokin Aces, The Last King of Scotland, and Freedom Writers. Here’s this week’s figures:

3. Freedom Writers - $6.11 M (New Release)
4. The Good Shepherd - $5.79 M
5. The Pursuit of Happyness - $5.61 M
6. Notes on a Scandal - $4.73 M (New Release)
7. Blood Diamond - $3.75 M
8. Happy Feet - $3.65 M
9. Children of Men - $3.11 M
10. The Holiday - $2.98 M

It’s good to see my man Clive Owen hanging on there with Children of Men, but how long will he hold on for? Will the other new releases push it out of the top ten? We’ll have to wait and see next week.
