Planet Earth Series One out this week
Planet Earth amazes
Planet Earth series one from BBC comes out on DVD this Tuesday. For those of you that haven’t seen this amazing show, you really are missing out. The whole series is shot in high definition, so you can really get a sense like you are there in the actual surroundings. This documentary series takes you through jungles, caves, deserts, mountains, oceans, and so many more ecosystems and environments. With the ‘going green’ movement becomming more and more popular, this show is on the rise. This series is also narrated by documentay buff David Attenborough, who has narrated his fair share of notable documentaries in the past.
The cameras take you deep into ecosystems that have a high probability of collapsing if the current global warming trend continues. Rare species are caught on film, many who some have never set their eyes on, like the wild amur leopard. This series does an excellent job in showing how humans are drastically changing the environment. And honestly, it’s a shame to see some of the images in this series, like polar bears struggling to find icebergs to live on. This series will hopefully further raise awareness to the destruction that Man is causing on Mother Earth. We need to be more concious and aware of these things as we move ahead. This is a profound series that will certainly move you in more ways than one.
