Alright I know what your thinking. Yes I am a girl, and yes this is more of a “chick flick” but I really like this movie. And I’ll tell you why. There’s sex, lies, and drama. And of course Cate Blanchett, who plays a steamy art teacher who ends up gettin it on with a 15 year old student. Worst yet, her new found friend Barbara (Judi Dench), walks in on her while they are having sex! Talk about a spot being blow! LOL!

Anyway the story unfolds where love interests develop and scandal gets deeper and deeper. The screenplay for this movie was written by Patrick Marber, the same guy who wrote Closer. Which by the way, if you haven’t seen that movie, you need to go see it (Clive Owen’s the best!). Overall this movie is meant to show the dark side of teacher-student relationships. And for all the guys, if you’re looking to score some points with the ladies, bring this movie over to their house and they will love you!.
