National Lampoon’s : Pucked looks like it sucks

So far, I’ve told you about some good movies. Well now it’s time to tear them apart, this one in particular. So we have National Lampoon’s : Pucked starring non other than Jersey rocker Jon Bon Jovi. Since when does Jon Bon Jovi have an acting career? Oh wait, he was in Cry Wolf. Well…. that explains it. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a hell of a musician. Everyone should listen to some old school Bon Jovi now and then. But come on guy! David Faustino is in it too! Come on, Bud Bundy. He’s had a very successful career since Married with Children (sarcasm).

Nevertheless this movie has more than just ‘Bon Jovi as a lead actor’ wrong with it. National Lampoon’s hasn’t been putting anything good out since Van Wilder. I’m not sure if this movie is a straight to DVD movie or not, but I have a good hunch it is. Seriously, who are these guys trying to market to? The college crowd? Who would buy this piece of crap. What ever happened to a charcter like Clark Griswold? I for one, don’t like seeing movies like Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj being made and having the National Lampoon’s title connected to it. To me it’s a disgrace.

What about you guys? Am I the only one who thinks this? Will somebody back me up?
