Here’s the movie trailer for Dreamgirls, one of the hit releases this week. After watching the trailer this movie reminds of that kinda Ray-style film. It’s interesting to see the whole 1950’s struggling african-american musician thing from a woman’s point of view.

i find it ironic for beyonce to play a role that’s so similar to herself. i feel like she was always the diana ross of destiny’s child and now she can prove it by acting in a movie that depicts the history of the supremes. she also said some really arrogant comments about jennifer hudson’s character getting so much hype by stating some along the lines of “people already know that i have talent and that i can sing. i could’ve put on 40 pounds to play that role too!”" bitch.
