Children of Men on DVD
Clive Owen shines in Children of Men
I know I’m probably going to say this a lot, but if there’s one new release that you HAVE to pick up, its Children of Men. First off, the cast is spectacular. Clive Owen, Julianne Moore, Michael Caine, as well as some new actors to the scene that put on very promising performaces. Its directed by Alfonso Cuarón, who also directed Y tu mamá también. Cuarón does an excellent job of showing a future filled with infertility. The storyline involves the appearence of a woman who is pregnant in a world where that is not possible anymore.
With all the twists and turns along the way, you will be strapped to your seat to see what happens next. And now I know your asking yourself “What happens when the mass angry crowds find out the woman’s pregnant?” Well….. you’re just gonna have to watch it for yourself.
